GoGrid Cloud Storage Image:New.gif

GoGrid Cloud Storage is included with all GoGrid accounts just as servers and Load Balancers are. Each account allows for a 10GB quota of free Cloud Storage. Users can provision their Cloud Storage by clicking on the "+" button, then "Cloud Storage" in the user-interface. Any usage over the initial 10GB free quota will be charged for at a rate of $0.15 per GB. Click here to learn more about Cloud Storage pricing and how to increase your storage quota.

Cloud Storage must be routed on each individual GoGrid cloud server in order to enable the ability to move data across the private network. Once the storage block device has been routed, you can use a number of transfer protocols to push and pull data to Cloud Storage. View the Getting Started Guide to learn how to access and utilize Cloud Storage.

The following network devices are available for use in GoGrid from F5. Our F5 Load Balancers use ICMP ping to determine which servers in the pool are serving data on your HTTP or HTTPS ports. Servers that are off, in an error state or have ping disabled will be removed from the pool.

For a quick guide on how to add a server to the Load Balancer's pool with minimal downtime, click here. This is a temporary solution until we enable the ability to edit existing Load Balancers from the GUI.

F5 Load Balancer Algorithms

Round Robin Algorithm

Round Robin algorithms send incoming connections to your servers one at a time and in a specific order.

Least Connect Algorithm

Least Connect Algorithms send incoming connections to the servers with the least amount of load on them.
